Bank Top Map

Bank Top is a quarter of Bradford, situated in West Yorkshire. Like many of Bradford’s residential quarters, it sits within a city shaped by the legacy of the wool and textile trades, with streets of terraced housing that reflect the area’s working-class roots. The quarter takes its name from its elevated position, a common feature across Bradford’s hilly topography where neighbourhoods were often named for their position on rising ground.

The Surrounding Area

Bradford itself is well connected by road and rail, with Bradford Interchange and Bradford Forster Square stations serving the city centre and linking to Leeds, Halifax, and beyond. Bank Top sits within this broader urban fabric, close to the residential streets and local amenities typical of Bradford’s inner quarters. The city’s wider offer includes Saltaire, a UNESCO World Heritage Site a short distance to the north, and the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford city centre.
