Brown Royd lies to the west of Bradford’s commercial centre, placed within the broader City ward of the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council. The ward takes in the central area of Bradford within the inner ring road, along with several neighbouring communities including Shearbridge, Lister Hills, Dirk Hill, Little Horton Green, and part of Lidget Green.
